Central Montana Foundation (CMF) gave away more than $11,000 at its February meeting to three local not-for-profit organizations. Recipients included District 6 HRDC, $2,500 for Clearinghouse Connections to assist Fergus County residents with unforeseen emergencies; $4,999 to Denton Rod & Gun Club to be used for the purchase of an on-site storage container to store supplies for the Club and $3,975 to Fergus County Recreation Association for finish work of the Camp Maiden Shower-house.

The Foundation awards grants to non-for-profit and tax-exempt Central Montana organizations from the income earned on 10 unrestricted permanent endowments. The principal remains intact, and the monthly income allows CMF to grant funds for the betterment of Central Montana.
