It was standing room only at the most recent City Commission meeting to show strong support for a new park and entertainment area.  After an hour-long show of support the Council approved the proposed initial planning for the facility.  Lewistown City Commission Chairman Dave Byerly told KXLO-KLCM News:


The strongest opposition to going forward with the idea dealt with Lewistown already having eight public parks to maintain, and the assertion that the old mill building that borders spring creek is an eyesore that would be too expensive to remodel.
