Twenty-three Montana airports are to benefit from the Federal Aviation Administration’s latest round of infrastructure grants. The FAA has announced that more than 24 million dollars has been awarded to 23 Montana Airports. The Lewistown Airport is the recipient of  two 2.1 million dollar grants. The Great Falls International airport will get nearly 2 million dollars to expand it’s snow removal equipment building and widen a taxiway. Lewistown Airport officials are starting work on a runway project to bring it up to date. Nationwide the FAA has announced that 569 airports across the country would get funding grants totaling 770.8 million dollars from the 3.18 billion dollar Airport Improvement Program.
